It's just your everyday 10\100\1000 NIC I don't even think it needs that poorly designed heat sink anyways.

While it's benefit/cost is quite low, the reviews I've seen actually do show it improves ping. There's always a market for the top of the line product with no regard for price. It's got a heat sink because it's running at 400MHz w/ embedded linux. It also has very good control for setting the priority of different types of network traffic.

That's funny, given that it has embedded Linux, it's ironic that Linux isn't on the list of supported operating systems!

I lost a considerable amount of respect for PC Gamer Magazine when they wrote a positive article on this card awhile back anyone can be bought nowadays sad really.
