| globoy:
This might of interest to this crowd. An article about Walter LeCroy, founder of LeCroy Corporation, who passed on May 10. Apologies if this ran already. I did a quick search but didn't find it. https://www.teledynelecroy.com/walter-lecroy/ and his obit https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/name/walter-lecroy-obituary?id=51970873 Seems like a nice fellow and good boss. |
| SiliconWizard:
Must have been great to work at LeCroy. I still have a 9354AL. 4 channels, 500Mhz bandwidth, 2GSa/s, 8MSa of sample memory. |
| Stray Electron:
I have a couple of the 9354s. They're great scopes! I wish that I had discovered them years sooner. |
| alm:
I liked this quote from his obituary: --- Quote ---Rather, he encouraged his staff to innovate and was known to motivate the engineers at LeCroy by telling them: "You people are not making mistakes fast enough!" --- End quote --- |

I used to have a sign over my desk that said "Good Judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement." |
