I was just using it as an example of the difference between mega and milli. Can you do some lasting damage with 10mW, sure, but you'd have to be doing something really stupid or doing it on purpose. The reason the old 5mW pointers were limited to 1-3mW was because a small number of stupid kids were intentionally shinning it into there eyes directly and on purpose. |
