Wow that's awesome!

Your channel is actually what brought me a renewed interest to electronics.  Always kinda been interested but not really more than that.  When I discovered your channel it sparked the interest again.

Just replying to say that the same goes for me as well.

What a great achievement!
Congratulations.

This is definitely the best place for electronics and especially for test and measurement equipment.

Does that feel weird knowing 100 million people know what you look like? How often are you recognized out in public?

Except that 100 meg individual people do not know what Dave looks like. Unless you think that every view was someone that hadn't seen Dave in a prior episode, which would be a serious problem I would think.

I bet most people who have seen his videos have only seen him once.

Nearly a BILLION minutes of viewing time!

Great work!

I wonder how many frames that is (30 billion?) or how much bandwidth or how many pixels. Wouldn't that mean there would be a whole rack of servers if that all came from one machine? How much CO2 was produced to store and se nd  all that data  ? To use an iPhone (average medium user) it requires the electricity of a house hold refrigerator running daily. In the US 80% of that comes from coal so your iPhone burns a few  pounds (10-20 I think been a while since I figured out how much a kw/h was in coal; but its a lot more then you think. To turn that solid into a gas is a huge volume= 14 grams of coal uses 32 grams of Oxygen = 46 grams of CO2; which occupies 22.4 liters of gas. Yes Prius driving hippies: You have a coal powered iPhone.

Actually, for the USA coal is about 30%, Natural Gas about 35%, Nuclear about 20% and renewables about 15%

Dave, that's 100 million views since leaving Altium. Good move. Not leaving Altium, but doing something you enjoy.

As they say, one volunteer is worth ten conscripts. That is the key to success. :-DMM
