Hello to all,

I live here in Greece and i want sometime in next couple of years to start my own business(computer tinkerer, tablet/mobile phone repair business etc).

I work now for a big retail store and i managed to accumulate some money so i want to start getting some tools.

here in greece we don;t have many option to buy from and if we buy from greece we buy chinese stuff overpriced...so i decided to buy one good rework station for repairing laptop jacks motherboard reflow ,mobile phone and tablet lcd repair!

I want a good iron(i know have a crappy 30e wannabe controlled one with a knob) and a good hot air gun for reflow and tablet/mobile phone repair.

The hot air gun part is a shameless clone of the hot air gun part of a chinese clone, but they work well, just dont trust the temp shown on the display, it takes about another 8 seconds for the air to get close to the desired temp on the output,

The soldering iron part i cannot vouch for, but looks good enough, just make sure you can get replacement tips from atleast 2 suppliers, so that 5 months down the track if you manage to damage the tip doing something you shouldn't you can replace it, ( a quality well looked after tip should last years,)

It's ridiculous junk for this money. Blower fan in the handpiece is the cheapest and the worst type of hot air gun. Buying it for this much is just stupid. Also Yihua is one of the cheapest/crappiest brands making such equipment, so this price looks even more ridiculous. Get solder iron and and hot air separately.

If you really want to start business, I'd advise to get more professional tools you can trust. ERSA I-CON nano as the soldering iron and Quick 861DS hot air. That of course is way over this junk in price but will serve well over the many years. Otherwise if tight on money, get some really good soldering iron, still suggest I-CON nano and some cheapo hot air like 858D models. Don't forget that likely you'll need to pay VAT +, probably, customs duty when importing stuff from China.
