Title: 2 pin addressable LEDs?
Post by: VoidsWarranties on November 24, 2017, 05:27:26 pm
We got a new Christmas tree this year and it’s one of those fancy ones that has color changing LEDs on it.  I was interested in how each light had only 4 wires going to it.  And Each led has only 2 pins. They are addressable LEDs since a single led can be any of the color options on the remote, rather that it being a single color and only lighting when you select that color.  My question is how these things work.  they seem to have a really low update speed to change color but they have a flicker when running just a solid color.  Any ideas?(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171124/04da935cb7e545d8cb51009e4d7c77ed.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171124/0dce5416e0a366d3a0fd18ffd55c5f08.jpg)
