Not that I understand this all that much, but that little tugboat is pretty cool!

Anyone who has ever dropped a small part on the floor can only chuckle at the line in the paper which states that (paraphrasing) "a large portion of the microprinted figures are lost during recovery from the manufacturing bath"

That 'tugboat' is called a Benchy.
It is a classic test piece used to test many of the challenges faced by 3D printers. Mind you, they aren't usually that small.

It is unfortunate that the Benchy was not on the list of possible replacements for the battleship in Monopoly https://www.thesun.co.uk/living/2585074/original-monopoly-pieces-thimble-vote/ It would definitely have received my vote.
