hmm, wonder if Rhodium plated prophylactics would sell... you know.. for that ultimate interface experience  :palm:
i love how in the ad, they mistakenly say its gold plated, obviously they lifted the whole text from there previous bullshit gold plated pug ad.
Hobbyist and a retired engineer and possibly a test equipment addict, though, searching for the equipment to test for that.

This product isn't for the truly committed aficionado.  It's just waaaaaaaay too cheap.

I mean ... $10 for a pair - marked down to $9.50?  Come on!

Buy stock of them, bump up the price to $100 a pair and claim that everyone else are selling fakes so be aware!

your can add your own LED. but make sure your take a diode or LED in reverse. I use 1nF 250v and a 1k resistor in series @230v ac @50Hz, you can calculate your own value with your country Voltage and Hertz .

+1 for buying them up. Coming up with a snappy name, marking them up 20 times, and then you have something.

What about supplying gold plated power cables, plug top and wall sockets and even having dedicated wiring back to the consumer unit for that all immersive sound?

  :palm:

"At first I was not sure if I should spend $2k on a USB cable. I wasn't sure. So I decided that I would believe all of the specs on the product description, over the 4 years of University education in Electrical Engineering. The education was telling me that if the digital signal gets to the other side with no change, there is no difference in the cables.

Here is the rub: in order to afford this highly sought after cable, I was forced to sell my Oscilloscope. That is probably a good thing, as I would be able to prove that there is no digital difference between this cable and the Amazon Basics USB cable if I still had my 'scope.

The only real problem I have is finding a USB2 port that is 10 Gbs rated. Every one I tried is 480 Mbs. That makes me feel a little silly, paying for a cable capable of sending data 20 times faster than the ports can handle. But in my mind, I know the data has fun for a little while, as it leaves a port and throws the accelerator down for as long as it can, until it slams into the data waiting to go into the port on the other side."  :-DD

What? A see through blue plastic part from China and no blinking LEDs for phase purification, frequency coherence and reduction of polarized noise built in?!?
I am so very disappointed! :--

I have seen HDMI cables costing £60 in PC World that the shop assistant said would improve the image quality.  I smiled at him, felt sorry for him and sighed.

My son used to work for them as well and he had to attend a workshop training day given by a cable company whose name begin with M and they were all sort of brainwashed and they came away believing the hype. They threw all kinds facts and figures and comparative tests at them until they all agreed that their cables were well worth the asking price. So the shop assistant probably believes that they are better, my son did and my 8 years at college gaining my qualifications could not change his mind, he spent a small fortune of his income buying those cables for all of his audio and video gear.  :palm:

Your 10.000$ cables is useless if you don't ground your system:

I believe I read that rhodium is extremely hard, like its cousins osmium and iridium. While that is a good thing for plating jewelry to delay the gold layer rubbing off, it is not obvious how that is beneficial at all for electrical contacts. The rhodium layer, while thin, is twice the resistivity of gold, three times that of copper, and it will wear down the mating contact of softer metal.

I just want an HDMI cable that can bend easialy to clean up the mess of wires. The thinner the TV’s are and more they hug the wall the more the cables are a problem. Wireless would be best.
