So I bought a used 2006 dodge charger about two years ago. Recently the rpms's would jump up 1000 to 2000 rps. I took it to the shop and they found that the previous owner had installed a performance chip which ended up corrupting the computer (causing it to misread the gas pedal sensor) and costing me $340. Below are some screenshots, you can see that there is some corrosion on it. Just a warning.
