Mystery Part TO92 marked 2T011
« on: June 14, 2021, 09:47:56 am »
Trying to find out what the specification are of this part marked 2T011 or maybe 2to11.
Its in a TO-92 package.

I did search everywhere, no hits?

Anyone have any clues. It's in a USA manufactured Ultrasonic leak detector.
Lots of 2n2926's on the board marked in Yellow and Green so its very early vintage.

Thanks

Do you have a picture of the board and picture of the part?

Yes I do see attached. The device behind it is the same one with the same markings.

I'd desolder one of these and put into a transistor tester. This at least will give some info.

My best guess it's a pnp bjt, but not sure which one.

I pulled the part.

BJT PNP Hfe 215, Ube 693 and Ic 6.2MA on the chinese transistor analyzer.

A BC557 might be a close match, but I have not looked for match exhaustively.
