Amazing. At first I thought it was a Chiron with a lego skin, but the only parts that are not lego are:
Wheels
Axles
Chassis
Battery(s)
The documentary (8 mins) shows just how little of the original car was used as a base. Seriously impressive, 1 million plus parts, 2300+ motors. I do not know if can steer though or if it can, by how much. Seems to get up to a reasonable speed (ie. faster than walking!) but looks like it was a bit bumpy.
Looks like the motors are linked to a some sort of non lego battery. Likely with weight being an issue LiPo or some derivative. The motor block has some pretty thick cables coming off it.
