The 'flicker' is not that candle-like, but they do flicker. Nothing in them but an LED, on-off switch and the battery. If you look carefully, you can see the IC inside the LED Here is a head on shot These are as good as I could get with my lens. |

Here is another resin project. Very impressive but a FAIL (watch to the end). I really did like the way he used the fiber optics with LED shells. BTW: lest anyone think I am being critical of the effort, I am aware that if I attempted the project the video would finish with me in the ER. |

Those flickering LEDs used in the little tealight candles never really impressed me much, they don't look candle-like at all. An actual candle doesn't really flicker much, it will waver a bit and may flicker in a breeze but the LEDs look quite exaggerated. I think a small microcontroller could do much better, especially with this candle that has two LEDs wired independently. |
