"Transducers, sensors, and detectors", a book that comes very cheap: $ 8
Another list (via googl) has a textbook $ 118 with hard cover, plus looks like a wider treatment by including circuits, reflectors, and other various things, to the side, but very helpful, (depending on whether your question is including 'how to build and use'.
A deeper description might even include such things as a sample Arduino time delay routine, used in
de-bounce a mechanical switch closure.
If your not sure, maybe get the nine dollar book first. Both simple, and deeper topic books almost always have worthwhile material...(Just maybe a little more caution, above $ 100.
Also, check on any local College bookstore, and perhaps even buy a course listing, like, 'SUCH and Such book as text for Circuits Semester EE 176 class.'
