Hi guys!
I found this extension slot for a very cheap price 6.64 USD. They have 10 000 pieces but everything will be sold out soon. If anyone wants to improve his laptop.

Frankly running GPU on one lane of PCI-E is not good. Riser is a valid thing but for something like mining, not gaming.

It would be slower than 4x AGP, best case scenario, if the laptop is new enough to have PCIe 3.0 on that slot.
if not, ouch.

Given the junk graphics in now a days laptops, this will be an improvement for certain. I don't know how much, but I think its worth it for 7 USD, especially if you have a GPU sitting somewhere.
I have not heard of this dock, is it available for all manufacturers?

I have done it with Expresscard, actually works OK for gaming as long as all the textures can fit into the VRAM.

I also have an express card, but the one I gave in the post is with a Mini PCI express card (wifi card slot). Can you give me some link to a product with a 34 express card? I would really like to add it to my express card, my graphics are 64MB intel HD 3000, pretty much 1 level over the worst.

Also what do you mean by all the features to fit on the "VRAM"? Is that the video dedicated memory GDDR3? I need it to run my Windows7x64Pro and 10x64Pro on a virtual machine with some old games and new development software (Codeblocks, KiCad, OrCad and etc.).

Thanks for the suggestions, but its not good. These ones are for Mini PCI, I need for Express card 34. Also the one I gave for 6.64 USD gives the cable and external slot also.

You'll probably have to go with a DIY solution for Expresscard. At that time, I have not been able to find a reasonably priced solution that plugs into the Expresscard slot.
How much VRAM you need depends on your screen resolution and what apps you run. 2GB will probably be enough for light gaming and most apps, up that to 3GB for running a 4K display. (2GB actually is enough for 4K media playback - the only time I managed to cross 2GB VRAM usage playing media was on 5K content.)

You are right. They are very expensive. Since I am not that familiar with this hardware(who has ever heard of express cards), can you tell me why not replace the mini PCI Express(WiFi card slot) from my first post with this:

What stops you is that the video card is not a USB device! These extenders use USB3 cables, because those cables and connectors are cheap and plentiful and provide three high speed differential pairs plus a few other wires, which is just enough to carry the signals needed for a single lane of PCIe.
Also please note that although the slot on the extender is 16x wide, it is actually a 1x slot. That means it provides only 1x speeds, so between 2.5 Gb/s to 8 Gb/s depending on the PCIe level chosen by the combination of the motherboard and the card.

No, as mentioned before, although the graphics card adapter uses a usb 3 cable it is in no way shape or form compatible to actual usb.
The expresscard adapter you've linked is an actual usb 3 controller.
