There's some good guides for getting to different places and businesses in Shenzhen. Here is another guide that's not so great but I'd like to think it's serviceable.
I visited Itead in Shenzhen earlier this year. If you get in contact with them, there's a good chance they'll show you around. I took a couple of photos between the metro station and the two Itead offices and threw them together on my blog.

I get PCBs from them but they make a bunch of other stuff.
