No, what sort of UPS do you have?
Most things which work off a single AA battery don't use much power, so it makes sense to just use a decent quality alkaline battery.

Search for "AA battery eliminator" and you'll find lots of dummy AA cells with a lead. Check the voltage output as some of them look to be > 1.5V as they also come with a dummy cell with nothing inside.

I have a Rigol 832. Just in case you need to power something and you don’t have batteries. Could maybe 3d print something. But...

It's PSU, not UPS. You're eligible winning 'confuse everyone' prize.

I would step it up, and just do 18650's if you don't want to use lead acid batteries. You can't just stick those in any UPS though... it would need to be purpose built with a balance charger.

Correct the title. Most people would think you are going to power UPS from fake battery.

You can simply buy a battery holder and put any AA battery. They even make battery holders for 18650 batteries.
Just look at the pictures: https://www.digikey.com/short/pt98q9 (https://www.digikey.com/short/pt98q9)

does it have to be AA or AAA?
i have a holder that is designed to take 3xAAA and fit inplace of an 18650 in a light - i soldered wires to it to do "stuff"
btw, it looks like most people never actually read your thread title! |O

Actually the title is was most misleading part of this thread. And you obviously did not get what OP actually wanted. As I understand OP wants something like this:

no, i understood.
i use one myself to charge unusual shaped or wire ended batteries in a standard charger.
