Low volume custom panel labels

I'm looking for an economical supplier of a sticker to label the front panel of a project using this small hand-held case:

I'd probably only want 100 at a time, unless there is a very good saving to go to 500 or 1000.

There needs to be holes for 6 LEDs and one small push button.

I've previously used engraved labels for a remote control (similar area, but 24 rectangular holes), but they were over $4 each. This project needs to be much cheaper. Lexan would be ideal, but I'm willing to go paper if the savings are good enough and the quality of the paper labels is reasonable.

Have you tried a label printer in your area. A peel off label on a roll die cut to fit the pinout with a UV varnish overlay or a laminated top cover will work, though it may be expensive if they do not have a punch cutter for your particular size. You probably would have to order 1000, though you can seal them in a waterproof bag along with a desiccant sachet and store in the fridge to keep them usable longer. you will have to specify an adhesive that sticks to the substrate and punch the holes for the LED and pushbutton yourself though, unless you have this done in the cutting die which then becomes custom to you.

You might get away without holes: I would print on A4 transparent film, don't punch a hole for the LED, it will just shine through. And the push button might work if it's flush with the panel when pushed. That way it sticks out a little when not pressed. Depending on your design it might look quite fine this way. And you can print them yourself. If not, maybe you can only drill the button, leave the LEDs covered.

Thanks for the replies. I definitely need holes but would prefer not to punch them myself unless there is a major saving.
