| Advice for tape/sealant for Saab rear window trim |

Hello! My friends, I need some help - can you recommend a solution to coat the rear-top seal of a Saab rear window? The seal integrity is fine, but there is a black painted strip of metal above it, where the black paint has worn off, over the years. I had suggested self-amalgamating tape (as used for weatherproof seals for sat dishes - we used to use that a lot) but I wasn't sure if this would be correct advice. If you know, would you reply? Many thanks me old Chinas. |

Self-amalgamating tape is for wrapping leaky hoses with overlapping layers. Are you looking for an adhesive, or a paint? |

I am looking for a paint. Thanks! :) |

Hmmm how about plasti dip? Should be able to find a can easily at your local auto parts store. Easily removable and I think it will match the look of the original paint (sort of dull and slightly matte, it isn't shiny). |
