Agilent 2000 Series standby
« on: January 26, 2012, 11:33:05 am »
Hi

I have checked how many standby power consumption my Agilent MSO 2000Series draws, and i measured about 19.5 Watts!
I know daves video about the 3000 Series standby power, but knows anyone how much the 2000Series normally draws? Is my Oscilloscope broken?

grats

Same power supply so same standby and if the power supply has been updated it is hard to imagine they could have made it worse.

The back of the scope and storage area is kept warm with the estimated 5-6W standby, 19.5W would make it hot, I question your measurement accuracy.
