Regarding your question, absolutely nothing. It will be incorporated into the Taobao Tmall Commerce Group or (more probably) in the Global Digital Commerce Group.
EDIT - at the end of the article:
--- Quote ---Jiang Fan will be the CEO of the Global Digital Commerce Group, which spans the Southeast Asian-focused Lazada, AliExpress, Trendyol, Daraz and Alibaba.com.

"The six new groups will be: Cloud Intelligence Group, Taobao Tmall Commerce Group, Local Service Group, Cainiao Smart Logistics, Global Digital Commerce Group and Digital Media and Entertainment Group."
I guess the selfish concern here is if Cainiao is its own company, expect shipping speeds and possibly lost items to increase.

Well I don't have a bad experience per se with them. Also with SF. The same can't be said about Deppon Express, UL Express or even the heavy market share Yunda Express.
