All I want for Christmas is...
« on: December 17, 2012, 09:49:43 am »
...my micros to work while in the middle of a debug session...and a new ESD mat for my home lab. This winter season has claimed one too many victims already. ::)

Convinced my cousin to get me this and/or this for Christmas...

She was like, "You want a plastic bottle and metal sponge for Christmas?? Weirdo." This was after failed requests for this, this, this, this, and this.

Well, that sounds quite familiar....... "Do you really need these cables??...."....well, yes...otherwise I will buy them myself anyway......
Most times I end up with a sweater or so (which I don't wear as these are too warm for me)....... but gladly the abundance of sweaters or jackets did decreased a lot during the last years ;)

The ESD mat looks pretty nice! Big enough to cover your whole work area and not too expensive either....

Did you try out the Digikey contest? http://www.digikey.com/us/en/mkt/fb/wish/wish.html.  Might be a good way to get your mat for free.  Good luck!

Less idiots in the world, more science in the world, less hate, more forums like this one, and the end of woowoo thinking. Unfortunately the only person who can bring all of this would be Santa...... ironic......

Well, you southern fellows obviously have different Christmas than we have..... Let's see if we'll get some snow for Christmas up here.... would be nice.....but not too much.

Ed, probably will not be 45C, but i lived in a town where the winter average high was 42C, summer was 43C. We would get visitors come from upcountry and drop dead from heatstroke, while us that lived there were complaining that it was quite cool at 10AM at 30C, we were wearing jerseys because it was so cold..........
