Ed, probably will not be 45C, but i lived in a town where the winter average high was 42C, summer was 43C. We would get visitors come from upcountry and drop dead from heatstroke, while us that lived there were complaining that it was quite cool at 10AM at 30C, we were wearing jerseys because it was so cold..........
i just dislike roast dinners in that kind of weather :P

Ice cream place did roaring business. Eddie got his machine delivered and set up on Thursday night, along with what he thought was an adequate amount of supplies, 2000 cones and 100l of mix. Friday noon he did a quick call to his supplier and asked if he had more and could he come to fetch. was down to the last box of cones and mix when he came back at 6PM after his quick 200km drive to the local supplier and took all his stock. in 3 months he had paid off the machine and had bought a second one to handle the load, along with doing a quick rewire to the shop to get 60a 3 phase power to run the 2 machines, the display fridges for cooldrinks and the display fridges for chocolates.

You know it is hot when the public pool is closed for swimming as the water is at 50C. Fire dept came there and made an impromptu evaporative cooler with the pump truck and the water cannons to pump the water and spray it over the surface to do evaporative cooling of it.

Although it's surely a shock-proof meter, you should slap Santa for doing that to Fluke.  ;D
