Interesting video, from a really great channel it seems.
So many questions regarding this topic!
Is this faking industry known to the governments where it happens? Was this the reason China stopped importing so much E-waste? Or they don't mind it at all?
Are there any reliable refurbished chip souces? It seems to me, it might could eventualy be economical to do it properly.
How about chinese manufacturers of electronics? Do they avoid the fake chips or use them intensely without much problems?
Are the fake chips usually get recognized during production, or maybe significant numbers slip through to final products?
