Amazon and EEVblog - Adblock

Greetings EEVBees:

--I recently had a problem, and had to reload Firefox Nightly. I discovered that although I thought I had Adblock Plus configured correctly, that formerly it had been blocking the Amazon link, whereby Sagan gets credits for new shoes. I am fixing to order 25 pounds of popcorn and some special salt (group buy), and I will be using the EEVblog Amazon link.

--So make sure you have your Adblock, Noscript and other guardbots greenlighted for this forum, and use that Amazon Clickthrough Link, it will cost you nothing.

Really there is no reason to not have AdBlock set to let everything through on EEVBlog.  I remember posting about this a while ago.  The ads on this site are both relevant and non-annoying.

by default adblock plus only blocks the google ads, which usually arent all that relevent, you have to specify filters for the rest if you really wanted to block them, so most people get to see the quality ads on daves site,

Dave, that link does not get me the "A with swoop" Amazon logo when I create a shortcut for it.  I futzed around at the EEVblog.com/amazon page and got this link:
http://www.amazon.com/?tag=ee04-20&camp=1&creative=4265&linkCode=as4&ref-refURL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.eevblog.com%2Famazon%2F
which does give me the nice Amazon logo on the shortcut.  I see darn near zero similarity between them.  Both of these links properly get you a commission?
