I was going to buy the EEVBlog multimeter via Amazon. I live in Austria (the one in Europe without kangaroos), which is handled through the Amazon website in Germany.
Is there any reason why the multimeter can't be sold/delivered to Austria? The unbranded (red) Version of the multimeter is available for me to buy, but without the EEVBlog branding it's just not the same ;)

Interesting, it can be shipped to Germany no problems..

Holland is also a no go, if only Germany will be served in the whole of Europe, Dave is missing out on some heavy $ action

It's some quirk of fulfillment by Amazon: even if the vendor sets the flags to allow it to be sold abroad (of the Amazon store in question), it still won't work. I run into this constantly with Amazon Germany, which is the one that services Switzerland. Huge pain in the ass.
(Third party vendors who don't use fulfillment by Amazon do not run into this problem.)

Yeah. I am an Austrian as well and I run into this a lot with products on Amazon. It's not only Dave's Multimeter. It really sucks.
I use the forwarding agent LogoIX in that case. They basically give you a German address and forward the package to your Austrian address for a fee. The fee is based on the weight of the package:

Or see here: http://www.logoix.com/cgi-bin/preistabelle.pl. (http://www.logoix.com/cgi-bin/preistabelle.pl.)
So by spending about €5 extra, you can order the branded version straight from Amazon.
PS: I already own one. Back then I ordered it straight from Australia. Boy, customs tax and fees were horrendous. But it was worth it. It's the gem of my workbench ;D
