has anyone tried signing up for a new account with AD recently?
I wanted to go on their forum to ask a question about a terribly documented part of theirs that's just not behaving anything like the datasheet seems to possibly be recommending, and when I got to create an account there are a few steps...
first up is you click through the marketing guff where you are meant to select things to be spammed about later (no thanks!)
then you type in your email address.
then it sends you an email address verification code. (from microsoft!)
then you go copy the number from that back into the website.
then your email is "verified"
Then you go to progress the account creation, but then "email address is already registered" suddenly pops up... and there's nothing else you can do.
from then on, restarting the signup process fails as soon as you put your email address in.
talk about a pain in the rear.
has anyone else experienced this? I just had the exact same problem with my work email and my old personal email.
