After a quick listening to the video I assume that this means he takes bullshit from multiple sources and compiles it into a purified form?

I've read some youtube comments and some people say that there were no planes in 9/11. That was DEWs. Why do people want to believe in so many weird things?

You realize, that over two third of americans believe in a 2000 year old con, 12 million believe in lizzard people, about 25% in some kind of shadow goverment, like that Italian lamp manufacturer. People are gullible. Also, it doesn't help that google and facebook locks you in a filter bubble.

interesting to know how others did see this type of video.  my first encounter I did think he was only political.  :=\
but then he did add some indication of engineering knowledge or .. of knowing something about Direct Energy Weapons.
now that's news.   :-//  Ok....   I was mistaken .... bad video to post.   :palm:

I wonder if a kid with a box of matches counts as a directed energy weapon, more likely an ill-directed one I suppose.  :palm:

Why do people want to believe in so many weird things?

That's a deep and complex question, and deserves a good answer. However, the bottom line is that people are not that smart, we are only glorified apes. Evolution only needs to stop people falling out of tress etc, if there are weird beliefs that have no direct on survival, there is no selective pressure to eliminate them. So we should expect a very diverse range of beliefs to proliferate.

A very few weird ideas may turn out to be true, and confer a selective advantage. "Weird ideas" on the spread of disease when applied to public health have led to a significant increase in human bio-mass, a significant win for evolution. Ultimately though, our intelligence will rapidly destabilize the global ecosystem to the point of collapse, which may explain Fermi's paradox. Hopefully Nature will continue with less intelligent species that promote a more stable ecology.

Where there's an advantage to being intelligent then evolution will eventually bite you on the arse.

Youtube is the septic tank of the human race though, just after Facebook. Finding anything in ranking is dangerous.

Bar some gold nuggets floating on the top (dave, w2aew etc etc), it's mainly festering shit and people who have fallen in all the way to the bottom.

Edit: I forgot AboveTopSecret. That's worse than YT + FB. Run by the tsar of muppetry.

And yet the stupid Americans send our troops to Belgium to protect ungrateful people like you.  You were overrun twice in the 20th Century, saved both times by gullible Americans.
Yes, we are foolish in some ways.

Today, only 26,000 remain.

You know it's called the "allied forces", rather than "US forces", right? US soldiers weren't even the majority group, though they made a considerable and valuable contribution.

War movies have really messed with the perception people have of how things were.

As cannon fodder - just like the majority of the other troops on both sides.

I have only uploaded some four or so videos on YouTube so far and I'm pretty sure there was an easy and rather obvious way to pick a still frame to serve as the video's thumbnail. And he's picked this :palm: I mean, seriously, he doesn't exaclty come across as the sane and balanced person you could and should trust |O I wonder how crazy and gullible one has to be themself in order to click a video with a thumbnail like that in hopes for anything other than some comedic value.

Back on topic, I got to about 4:40, & couldn't stand it anymore.
He says he talked to journalists,---- why not firefighters?

Massive forest fires have been normal for millennia, in almost every country in the world,.
We compound things by putting fires out, then "leaving things till the next time", causing fuel to build up much more than Nature would normally allow.

"Controlled burns" are a good idea, but there are pollution problems which make them difficult to "sell" to the public.

I very much doubt that satellites are going to do much to find the origin of each fire, as they have difficulty seeing through clouds---- they weren't the "magic bullet" for Weather Forecasting they were predicted to be.

I didn't get to the Directed  Energy Weapon bit, but if such things existed, why would anyone think it would be a great idea to use them to start bush fires?

I'm sure Dr Evil, Ernst Stavro Blofeld or the Lizard People would find a much more impressive target to demonstrate their World dominance.
