   If three 100  Ohm resistors are connected in parallel, and in series with a 200 Ohm resistor, how many resistors do you have?

Also, harmonic analyzer reminded me of this series

Worth a watch to get some really visual understanding of the time and frequency domain relationship.

The 'Maker Movement' is 3D printers and Arduino. Engineering and manufacturing are a distant goal of the average 'Maker'.

I have designed and engineered countless commercial machines that I personally manufactured from a wide variety of materials using a wide variety of manufacturing techniques. No one has ever called me a maker because I don't use 3D printers or make LED's blink with Arduinos. Hilarious.

I think it is good; far better than the mindless use of appliances many were engaged in in the past. One thing I found that is cool is the community of old school machinists who who do things without the benefit of CNC. They do make use of modern CAD software but still it is nice to see a man or woman who knows what direction to place the tool post on their second hand lathe. :)

The Maker Movement is just a jumping off place for bigger and better things.

I sent this link to my sister who is an Artist,as I think it crosses the line between Art & Technology,if there is such a line.

After watching the video with English subtitles.

She has replicated Antikythera mechanism. Imagine what it took to do it in 200 BC. I would really enjoy watching someone do it with techniques and instruments available back then.

Well, after he chisels out approximate shape of the gear, he uses a file to actually make it round.

Still, a good documentary.

Files are ancient tools, and even iron files are known from circa 700 BCE, the earliest date given to the Antikythera mechanism is circa 205 BCE.
