I know there is a similar topic about Aneng store from Aliexpress https://www.eevblog.com/forum/chat/aneng-an860b-multimeter-aliexpress-warning/ (https://www.eevblog.com/forum/chat/aneng-an860b-multimeter-aliexpress-warning/) but anyway maybe I could save someone’s headache. |O
Ordered 3 pcs of Aneng AN860b multimeter on feb 04. Seller does not responds to any questions (at least 7 till this day) regarding order, however there was a period of 25 days to ship the order. Few hours before deadline of 25 days to ship the order, seller marked order as shipped but if I go to tracking there is a statement “Waiting for pickup”. This tracking status is there for 3 days. It’s obvious that order was not shipped. At “Awaiting delivery” there is “ Your order will be closed in: 57 days 12 hours 25 minutes
We are now Mar 22
It seems like a scam but in different form from link above from unofficial Aneng store and even if it is not and somebody actually got multimeter from this so called store on AE there is some crazy shit going on there.
25 days to ship (actually not shipped) + 59 days reserved by AE for actual shipping …crazy 84 days
Wtf
However. Will open a dispute tomorrow and see how it goes. But if anyone have any additional tips or knowledge about this store I would be very happy to listen.
Have a nice day and stay away from this store :-- :-- :--

I don't know what sort of consumer credit protection rules exist in Slovenia, but here in the US, you can open up a dispute with your credit card issuer, bypassing AliExpress and the store entirely. American Express is particularly good about this -- they will credit your account almost immediately, and then in a few days you'll get a notice from them saying that the dispute has been resolved in your favor.
Open the dispute online, fill out the form, give the reason ("product did not arrive" or similar) and that's it.
This has a secondary benefit: if a merchant has too many chargebacks, the credit card providers (Visa, MC, Amex, etc) will cut off that merchant's access to the credit system. And that's their lifeblood. If they can't process charges, they go out of business. Of course, they'll just close up the one shop and open another, so it's whack-a-mole, but still, it puts a dent into their income.

Thank you, will do that.
Have a nice day.

Some of the sellers on AE are slow to dispatch, and the comment awaiting collection is valid. It means the seller has processed the order and packaged it and it is now waiting for the postal collection from them. So in essence the seller has dispatched it but China Post is yet to make the collection.
From mobile device so predictive text might have struck again [emoji83]

Aliexpress changed some systems recently (about at end 2017). Now buyer feedback is more restricted, not that it was ever worth much. Also, some of the more helpful "diamond supplier" etc icons seem to have been removed. Also, Aliexpress customer service is now hidden behind an annoying "self service" screen, and it takes a bit of persistence to find a human to message. Now, as soon as the "buyer protection time" runs out, I can't lodge a "dispute order" - the option greys out - but before "buyer protection time" runs out, the screen tells me to wait for the delivery, - its a catch 22. At the same time, I have noticed two suppliers have stopped replying to messages about deliveries that have not arrived - that never happened before on Aliexpress. Before on Aliexpress, it seemed that if a seller did not reply to your message, then messaging Aliexpress would make them refund. Now, I think Aliexpress have decided the system can be "self managed" - I think that means caveat emptor.
Having said all of that, based on previous purchases, I would have bought from "ANENG Multimeter Store" - they have sold plenty of units, you can see this is what they specialise in, the prices are low but not unbelievable. I wouldn't be surprised if it was run by the same people as "ANENG Official Store". And with all this stuff delivery is a big unknown, 2+ months happened regularly. An aliexpress sale starts in 5 days, and the AN8008 will be $26.84 delivered in the "official" store, and $29.21 in the "multimeter" store. Other than the fact that it may never arrive, what is there not to love??!
