Disappointing.

I would add a built in compass and clinometer in order to align it properly to the Earth magnetic field and I would charge $5000 instead.

More meaningless dribble from a review -

From the opening seconds, I could feel the atmosphere in the venue. The music had a clarity, presence, and natural feel that, for the first time, made me think there was something worthwhile to streaming music. The sibilance was finally controlled. The soloists were so realistic I could feel something like their personalities in their voices. Musicians were solidly placed in realistic, identifiable positions on the soundstage. Jackson Browne sounded like I had heard him on my reference CD & LP rig. And the applause came from real people in the audience.

If this switch is changing the sound from what a simple low priced properly operating switch is doing, then it's changing the original data coming into it!
I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.

At that price, it should at least have SFPs for optical cables.
Cryptocurrency has taught me to love math and at the same time be baffled by it.

Cryptocurrency lesson 0: Altcoins and Bitcoin are not the same thing.

Looking at their website they seem to have everything:
https://www.synergisticresearch.com/accessories/ethernet-switch-uef/

Oversized audifool power cable and connector, low noises fuses, earth filtering, ground filtering stuff.

Over the years, we’ve developed technologies that redefined what we can expect from our audio systems. Products like the original PowerCell :bullshit: with its patented EM Cell :bullshit: set the bar as the world’s first noncurrent limiting AC power conditioner. We then adapted its EM Cell technology :bullshit: to our Tranquility Base isolation platforms :bullshit:  that condition signal while still in a component and power cords with Active EM Cells built-in to function as inline power conditioners. We’ve even applied EM Cells to bias system ground in our Active Ground Block ground conditioners and to our FEQ and Atmosphere ULF Field Generators :bullshit: that control room acoustics without the need for massive traditional room treatments. We’ve continued this decade-long adaption of EM Cell technology :bullshit: to condition the digital signal in an Ethernet Switch for perhaps our most transformational product since the original PowerCell line conditioner. It is no secret that digital sound quality has taken monumental strides :bullshit: forward since the days of “Perfect Sound Forever.” It’s also no secret that many audiophiles, including our Lead Designer, find much to love about the sound of analog playback from LP’s and Tapes. To quote the late great Harry Pearson of the Absolute Sound, “The best way to enjoy digital is to not listen to analog," and in many respects, we agree. A state-of-the-art analog rig still excels in areas of spacial and holographic realism :bullshit:, as well as a harmonic texture that leaves many digital systems sounding somewhat flat and bleached in comparison :bullshit:.

Enter our new Ethernet Switch UEF with UEF and Active EM Cell technology :bullshit: to close the gap between digital playback and state-of-the-art analog tapes and LPs. To accomplish this, we combined all EM Cell and UEF Tech applications :bullshit: and Galileo level chassis construction into a single component. EM Cell and UEF Tech to condition the digital signal? Check. An EM Cell to act as a built-in Tranquility Base? Check. A chassis milled from a solid billet of aluminum like our Galileo Active Ground Block? Check. Use of Carbon Fibre to eliminate the effects of chassis vibration on the signal? :bullshit: Check.

SR Purple Fuse installed
Beauty is in the eye of the fuse holder.

Buzzword bullshit: Powercell, EM Cell, Tranquility Base isolation, Active EM Cells, bias system ground,  Active Ground Block, FEQ and Atmosphere ULF Field Generators, transformational product, monumental strides, spacial and holographic realism, harmonic texture, flat and bleached, Active EM Cell technology, UEF Tech applications.

Their "money-back" guarantee is begging someone to order it for a, umm... 'in-depth technical review' before returning it.

The other audiophoolery ethernet switches are usually around 250 or 300 US$, and simply off-the-shelf unmanaged 5 or 8 port GigE switches for 20-30 bucks plus some minor changes and a lot of audiophoolery nonsense buzzwords. This one comes with an integrated PSU (instead of the usual wallwart) and a custom enclosure. So it's clearly the next higher level of audiophoolery which justifies 2500 US$. >:D
