Title: Answer Box
Post by: T3sl4co1l on May 17, 2016, 07:07:43 pm
Had a thought about a thing we could do here:

I've seen many sorts of questions come up, that are interesting, but frankly aren't worth giving reasonably complete answers to, for various reasons (poor medium; requires drawings, figures, circuit designs; takes too long to give more than a basic analysis of; etc.).

Most recent example (IMO): Using a current transformer to harvest energy (https://www.eevblog.com/forum/projects/using-a-current-transformer-to-harvest-power/)

Suppose those questions were aggregated and queued into an "answer box".  The box is donation supported.  At the answerer's convenience, a question (and compensation for time taken to write the answer) is drawn from the box.

The answers would probably be appropriate for the forum, but not for fully fledged blog posts.  It would probably be worthwhile to announce particularly good or anticipated posts on the blog.

What do you think?
