Anti-static Heat Resistant plastics/resins?
« on: February 22, 2021, 08:20:53 pm »
Hi guys ,
sorry If I'm posting this in the wrong board (I'm new) , I couldn't really see where else would be appropriate to post,
but anyway the situation is that I've got hold of an old server and gotten most of it working but the one thing missing to get it running properly is
the cooling baffles that direct air into the tiny heat-sinks and RAM slots.
This wouldn't be as big of an issue if the OEM parts weren't as rare as hen's teeth and the few out there cost $80AUS and that's not even for the full set which
the other piece(s) seem non-existent outside of the service manual.

Before throwing out the unusable crap of a smashed Samsung LCD widescreen TV I found on the side of the road, I saved the back-light filters (idk) and I was           wondering whether I could use them to jerry-rig a stop-gap solution for cooling the server until I find the OEM parts at a non-ridiculous price of almost twice what I paid for it.

Any advice/ suggestions are welcome.

Ta
