I had one of these and the main transformer went on fire leaving me with no tools at all. The quality of these Chinese stations is not good, I would spend a little more and get separate tools that way you won't get caught out if one explodes!

I too would prefer separate tools rather than these all-in-ones. Dave did a review of the Atten unit on one of his vids. I use a Sirocco hot air unit which I believe is made by Aoyue.. you can find them on ebay maybe.. just search for Sirocco hot air.... or I get mine locally at circuitspecialists

IMO these are the sorts of things I expect to throw in the bin every few years

Some Aoyue stations use 110V/220V transformers. It's a matter of rewiring the primary side of the transformer.

3in1 station from abroad

2702 is 2 in 1. You get solder iron and hot air. 2703A+ is 3 in 1. I have Int2703A+ and had it for over 10 years, since 2014. Great station!!

However, in 2025 it's old technology.

T12 (WQ) tips are old tech.
Hot air is weak compared to newer hot air stations.
Solder sucker is not needed with the advent of new mechanical suckers.

If you can get int2703A+ from eBay broken or used for around $50. That's a good deal. However paying $385 for a brand new unit is not worth it. In such a case there are better deals on Aixun T420D and H314.  :-+
