Any help with Wine on Arch Linux?
« on: December 22, 2017, 06:55:08 am »
I'm currently having a problem with Wine on Arch Linux. I have installed packages wine wine-mono wine_gecko and winetricks as well as the lib32 version of my graphics driver.

The issue I am having is a bunch of applications are rendering the contents of the frame black. Even the mouse disappears when it enters the frame. (See picture)

This seems to happen to most installers, as well as some applications like Steam. Applications like Notepad++ have worked, as well as all the other included applications with Wine that I have tried (like regedit). I have no clue why it's doing this, so I am wondering if anybody could help me. Wine reports nothing odd in console while running this, and all the buttons are usable with the keyboard when the window is open, I just can't see anything.

Thanks for any possible help.
I forget who I am sometimes, but then I remember that it's probably not worth remembering.

I don't appear to have whatever package glxinfo32 is a part of, If you can suggest what package that is i can get back to you on that one.

Here is the stuff out of pacman though:

Ah, solution. Not sure which one did it, but I noticed some "optional" dependencies weren't installed. I installed most of them. That fixed it.
