So Baidu no longer allows anonymous (not logged in) downloads, and registering as a foreigner not living in China is not so easy.

I'm trying to get this file, which in theory contains a Chinese datasheet for an MP3 playing device (JQ8400), there is a roughly translated english datasheet googleable but I want to see the original to try and work some things out..

Password: d2zg

Anybody able to download it and shove it somewhere more accessible for me?

Thanks to the member who PM'd me I have the files now, I've rezipped and uploaded them here for posterity and future Googlers who want the Chinese JQ8400 (JQ8400-FL) Datasheet, Example Code, And Executables.

The password on the zip file is "JQ8400".

The password is necessary because Google/Chrome thinks it "is dangerous" and otherwise blocks the download if it's encrypted they can't check.  I checked the files on a couple of online virus scanners and it was clean, so I don't know, if you are going to use the executables do it in like a VM or something to be safe I'd say.

This is all in Chinese, so, yeah, as I say there is a loosely translated english datasheet available if you google, but this might be useful for getting more details or trying a different translation.

- of course be careful about virus if you fire up the software in it and stuff but I checked on a couple of online virus scanners and it was clean.

These days, any executable that I doubt, even scanned fine at online virus scanners, they will be run only in VM. Any decent desktop machine nowadays capable of running disposable slim n mean VM.

Something smells bad. What's all this with executable datasheet?

The datasheet is not executable, it's just in a package containing some utilities too.

If you can give more details about which file(s) in the archive it's complaining about, I can take a look. ;)

I am not personally interested. I am just saying that I see no reason to go posting executable files hidden with passwords. Just post the datasheet and stop the nonsense.

I assume you are referring to the password'ed zip I uploaded.  The zip contains much more than just the Chinese datasheet, it contains code, and at least one Windows executable which is used... in some manner.... to .... do something .... to the device in question (JQ8400 MP3 Players), I think basically some sort of configuration or programming tool for the microcontroller built into the thing.

I don't think it's nonsense to make that available in case somebody wants it, and the only way to do it is to password the zip so Chrome etc won't forbid you from getting it.

But anyway, here is the datasheet on it's own JQ8400_Chinese.pdf it has a screenshot of what I assume is the executable in the zip on the last page.
