Anyone in Australia that can buy a board for me???
« on: March 11, 2014, 05:34:43 am »
Hi all,

I have been working on a tricopter for the past year or so, but during testing a week or so ago, I burnt the control board (kk2.1)....  I found a trace that had lifted up from the board, but even after repairing that, it didn't work.

I would just order another, but it is out of stock in the "international warehouse", and is only in stock in Australia, and I cant buy it directly, being in Canada.  I just contacted the company, and they said that the lead time for new board internationally will me a few months at best.

So, now to my question:  Is there anyone in Australia, that would be willing to buy it for me, and then send it my way.  I will, of course, pay completely in advance.

Thanks,
Josh

An indication of how much money is involved may get you a quicker response.

$30 for the board, $7 for shipping hk-> aussie, min. $14.20 shipping aussie -> you

yep, thats the correct amount (although I might grab 2 or 3 boards).  Are you offering?

Yeah, sure, why not.
You're building a multirotor, what size ect? I might throw in some stuff that you might find nifty.

Personally i would take the opportunity to upgrade to a better controller than the kk.
I've not tried the KK2.0 but the KK1.0 is terrible compared to other options like the naze32.

It's not that the KK is bad, it's just that a proper controller is so much better.

Greek letter 'Psi' (not Pounds per Square Inch)

I'm building a T-copter, on this frame: http://www.simplecopter.com/simple-tcopter/

I am using sunnysky 980kv extreme series motors, and 30A simonK flashed ESC's

Let me know in a message what your Paypal address is.

I think I will grab 3 (the most you are allowed to buy) if you are OK with that.

Let me know what your PayPal address is in a message, and I will send you what is is going to cost.

Thanks,
Josh

The kk2.0 is a HUGE improvement over the kk1.0, and the 2.1 (the one I am getting) is another improvement over the 2.0

I'll buy em, get em all packaged up and ready to send, and then before i send em to you i'll get you to pay for actual cost (post office might charge more/less than expected ect).
KK2.1 is pretty good. Much better than KK1.
