Anyone recognize this connector? (solved) (RGB HUB75 matrix power connector)
(1/1)

EDIT: Stuff in parenthesis after the title is so the next guy looking for this by doing an internet search has a chance of finding it. I looked for awhile and found nothing.
I'm trying to recreate a HUB75 RGB driver board from last months Hackerbox in KiCAD and I can't for the life of me find the part number of the connector in the following picture...

I've done my due diligence on Mouser and Digikey and struck out.

The first step in identifying a connector is to measure its pitch. I assume you did that in your due diligence, but elected not to tell us what it is.
Can you disclose that information?
skysurf76:
Apologies. I knew I was going to get yelled at. :)
I did find one article about how to use an RGB matrix that mentioned it being a 0.156" pitch.
Looks like someone else on the Adafruit forum was trying to find the connector as well. It does state the pitch is 0.156".

It could be a JST VH series, https://www.jst.com/products/crimp-style-connectors-wire-to-board-type/vh-connector-high-box-type/
skysurf76:
Yep that looks exactly like it. Trying to find a place to buy them from now. Doesn't look like Mouser has them.
WINNER WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER!
