When I was young I went to the museum, and there had a touch ( likely along with millions of others) of lunar rock, on public display in an exhibit on show at the time.

Thanks Homer, remember the museum a little, and riding in a City of Johannesburg double decker bus, must have been in the 1970's, and before the release of Star Wars.....
