Quite a mishmash of facts, errors, misunderstandings, speculation, and deliberate mischaracterization, with a huge foundation of paranoia. BLE has been in use longer than contact tracing. The image scanning was never rolled out. Etc etc etc.

Easy! By ignoring facts that disprove his narrative. Paranoia is a sad affliction, really.

He also just plain got numerous facts wrong, like claiming that Apple first used Bluetooth LE for Find My services. Or the photo scanning thing, which was never implemented after all.

I’m in no way opposed to people giving Apple’s security a good hard look. Keep them on their toes. But do it honestly. And he’s not honest.

Did not watch video posted into forum without any commentary or introduction. Did look at the "comments" and introduction text on the video(s) by that video producer, its an echo chamber in there! Like the followers are living in an entirely isolated community that doesn't even look to others for information (personality cult/sect).

1) Post a naked video with no other comment
2) refer to comments on said video with "explain it to me"'

So what are you adding to this MT?

Going by the content on that youtube channel, its hard to see if they are a rabid rooting/linux/freedom fanboy or a paid shill/troll. Either way not going to bother looking into it further when its so clearly biased.

“Bickering”? Look up the definition, and stating “ Who cares“ Definitely ain’t it.

You have to make allowances for MT not being a native English speaker. He meant to say "wittering" or "mithering".
Anybody got a syringe I can use to squeeze the magic smoke back into this?
