A quick follow up for people searching for shielded transformers.

After the r-core teardown which revealed the shield winding fraud, i recently tore down a shielded toroidal transformer to check whether this one actually is shielded correctly as claimed, before buying more transformers for a project.
Manufacturer is apparently Toroidy and i bought the transformer some 1-2 years ago from reseller MPAudio (now out of business it seems):

Very happy to see the primary completely surrounded with the copper shielding and a magnetic soft seel ribbon wound around the secondary under the black mylar tape.
CM-noise measurements have not yet been made on it.

Can you measure the capacitance to the shield and between the windings?
I find these toroids will couple mains RF to the shield/chassis ground, due to the high capacitance.
R-core does not suffer this, their construction is very low winding capacitance to the core, which might be why they are liked in audio circles.
