Are there any EEVblog server app you'd like to see installed?

Can confirm, the "quick edit" thing doesn't work.  At least, just trying it real quick, it sure doesn't seem like it.

I forget it exists too... I always use the Modify button.  Maybe because years ago I tried that and it didn't work...

The JS bug is identified and obvious; all that needs to be done now is either correcting it locally, or notifying responsible parties so they can push an update (and then updating the forum).

Plus with the full editor you have to look at that row of stupid animated emotes.

What's that ?
If you use the Modify message button within the post body there are zero emojis.

You guys can see a "Modify" button next to other peoples posts?
I thought that was only a Moderator tool that lets us edit other people's messages if needed.
The Quote is what you use to reply to and quote a post, and has always worked for me.

No, we can't. Or at least i cannot ;)

But again, there is a difference with another somewhat unknown feature. Again i personally was not even aware of this, and only found it just now when looking for it.

Hit the "Modify" Button at the top right of your post, and the Editor opens on a new page. This works fine, at least it does for me.

But there is also an unlabeled button in the bottom right corner on your posts, directly above the logged IP. Click that, and similar to the Quick Reply window, you can edit your post directly without loading a new page. But after clicking "Save" you are booted to the starting post of the thread, and the change is not saved.

EDIT: Added an image of this post, labeling the buttons i'm reffering to.

Apparently it is the quick reply that is not working for some, you don't see it when it is disabled in profile settings - look and feel. It's a text entry field that appears below the last post in a thread, you can type your reply there and click the save button. They say that after clicking the save button nothing happens and/or the system hangs. I just tried it and it works fine for me, so ymmv  :-//

Testing the bottom right 'modify' button... If you can read this it works for me.

Yep, the bottom right modify button and the quick reply both work fine for me (W10 & Chrome)
