Hopefully it'll be unpopular enough for Dave to disable it. The irritating thing is it's easy to enable, for those who want it. --- End quote --- What do you mean? It’s not the same WYSIWYG editor as has been available hitherto. --- End quote --- Is it not? I looks similar to me. To be fair. I didn't use it, that much. What's the difference? |

This is a very good example of how GUI design is pure hell to support. So many different ways of using it and behaviors depending on individual environments. In my personal case, I haven't had much problems with the new editor and it has actually fewer issues than the old one. For MY way of using it and MY environment. Good luck Dave. |

Which I don't mind. It doesn't affect the font size of the posts in threads. --- End quote --- It changes to fixed width font in text mode. --- End quote --- Nope, not for me. It's definitely not a fixed font here, it's the same font but with a larger size. Again don't assume that the issues and behavior you are encountering are the same in any other environment. More good luck to Dave. |

The old one did weird stuff that, for example, made loony quotes. |

Good luck Dave. --- End quote --- The ideal solution is to enable users to enable/disable it in their profiles. --- Quote from: tooki on December 06, 2022, 09:27:37 pm --- --- Quote from: Zero999 on December 06, 2022, 09:20:23 pm --- --- Quote from: tooki on December 06, 2022, 09:13:38 pm --- --- Quote from: Zero999 on December 06, 2022, 08:53:04 pm ---Yes, it's a pain in the bum.
