Are there any power banks that can charge while outputing power? I know it's not correct forum, but can somebody help me find power bank can do both charge and charge same+fast charge. Probably don't need larger than 10000 since larger are to heavy+big. I don't get why they are so hard and rare.do designers avoid them cuse they needs lots additional stuff or is it just controller what cost much compared to regular 1? |

I have a cheapy re-badged job from Kogan that does: https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-26800-mah-powerbank-118w-with-pd-and-qc-30-black-kogan/ (which doesn't help you too much being in the USA), but it's just some generic brand from China. I think the Anker ones do as well? However can't confirm as I don't have one on-hand to test. In Kogan's marketing material, they advertise it as having a "UPS" function (which just means charging and powering devices at the same time). Perhaps those sorts of keywords will help you in your search. |

How about a car battery? Or a UPS? Or almost any rechargeable battery? |

I just got a new one the same model as an old one with puffed cells and surprise: while looking the same on the outside and in the spec the old one outputs power while charging but the new one does not. Maybe look for older ones or modify one. Or maybe get some "UPS module" like those for 18650 cells. |
