Psi, remember when you first posted the price for this CNC Tech transformer wire? They were $1.22 to $1.28 a roll for the 600232, 600230, 60026, 600224, and the 600222 with a regular price of $115 each. I bought 6 rolls.

Well, I'm working on a project right now where I'm going to attempt to modify a small transformer and I believe the gauges of magnet wire that I need are amongst them :-+

Huh???

The single unit price is smaller than the 2 decimal places will show by default - add a quantity and you'll see a net price, i.e. qty10 are 3 cents.

They might have been cheap but now that I've unpacked everything I can see I have WAY TOO MANY alligator clip leads, actual copper alligator clips (97) and test lead wire. I could be making test leads still by next christmas.

And when you get your orders and there are a bag of 97 little alligator clips or 60 binding posts would you count each one? I did and it was spot on. But I also got some Adafruit 3W-9W RGB LEDs 20 of them and there were 21. I counted twice. They've been so accurate I wonder if they just threw the last one in to be rid of them. The whole lot was cheaper than a single one at Mouser. I couldn't resist 30cents ea.

Now to dispose of the packaging. Holy Mackerel!

I'm trying to look at the website from Canada, but get an insecure connection problem, and can't view anything. Anyone else from North America have that problem ??

Not from Nth America. Are you talking about a mostly blank white screen with a bit of text in the upper left  saying something like  "You are not authorised on this server?" I'm relying on memory, but  got that a few weeks ago when I was scouring the catalog.

I just placed another order with Arrow just moments ago. Get this, I first went through my list of part numbers to check quantities and price.

A minute later I went back to fill the basket. One item's price shot up from 37 cents to $33 :scared:

So just in the time between checking quantities and price someone else purchased an item I planned on buying.

This triggered Arrow's computer system to automatically raise the price :--

Well, that triggered me to cross that item off my list >:D

What an absolutely wild ride this has been shopping at Arrow!

One of the items I bought today was a Cal Test N to N test cable CT-3331-100 for $8.

I went back see if the cable dropped off of Arrow's inventory.

I see no quantities but the original price is listed as $255 :scared:

Works fine here, shipping is expensive though below $100 USD.
Is there anything specific you were going to get.

Hmmph.

Missed out on a product that I was hoping no one else would notice, and ended up getting charged "tariffs" that I think exceeded the price of the items they were applied to.
Pretty annoyed about the tariff thing; there really ought to have been a way to see those charges on a per-item basis before the "order confirmation."

that's a "Mini Round Robot Chassis Kit - 2WD with DC Motors", hopefully.)

Surely you couldn't have been surprised by tariffs. But are you saying they were calculated at the pre-discount price? I'm in Australia so I don't have to pay them but I'm still curious. If I've paid the Australian GST (Goods and Services Tax) on my orders it hasn't been itemised. Or the bill is still on its way.

Arrow isn't GST registered in NZ, so I doubt they are in AUS.
They only have to register if they do more than, I think, $60k of sales to NZ in a year, and I think AUS is similar.
And there really isn't much enforcement of that rule going on expect for well known marketplaces.

It was not obvious to see this info but it was possible. I went back-and-forth many times between the "Proceed to checkout" and "Add BOM to cart" to see the exact charges per line item. I then removed the products where the "tariffs" and the shipping cost breakdown turned the offers very uninteresting (some cheap alkalines and rechargeables were in the mix, for example).

It's hard to believe, but their web site seems to be getting WORSE.

Used to be that if I got kicked off after the time limit, I could wait a while (for something), and then reconnect successfully.
Now, seems thing more permanent, or require much more effort to get back in.  :-(

It was the same for me last year when i started looking for discounted things to buy.
At first it was just short timeouts, then they got longer, then i needed to fully clear cache and cookies.
Then i needed to both wait and also clear cache and cookies.

I think it's a combination of a badly written website, An aggressive anti-bot system, and a per-IP bandwidth/data limit.
