Title: Assert TRST in JTAG
Post by: DavidDLC on June 21, 2011, 05:11:29 am
The manual I'm reading says:

The DBGTAP is reset either by asserting DBGnTRST , or by clocking it while the DBGTAPSM is in the Test-Logic-Reset state.

What does assert means here

Thanks for your help !

Assert means that signal is brought to active level. Guessing from the name, DBGnTRST is asserted when it is low.

Got it, and I think is active low.

Thanks.
