Aussie making pinball machines in China

I just watched this video on an Aussie pinball manufacturer in China:

Extremely interesting, and a couple of interesting things I noted:

- It’s not a cost of wages thing in China, but the access to skilled labour and the supply chain
- Factory rent is higher than an equivalent site in Australia
- Most boards use through-hole components so that the machine’s owner can do their own repairs
