Hi. I recently attended analog devices design conference. I traveled from my home in Bergen (60°23' N / 5°19' E) to Stockholm ( 59°16' N / 18°16' E), visited relatives and went to the one-day conference. It was really interesting.
To the point : I got a paperback A4 book there, called "
Classic Application Notes Collection, Popular Tips and Techniques That Stand the Test of Time"
and it was for me, a treasure trove of really nice, high level information. A total of 30 App notes. (11.6 Megabytes)
The book is divided in 3 sections:
- General pcb layout and grounding
- Component theory, evaluation and specification
- Specific component type applications
So I wanted it in digital format as well, because of portability. So Now I have downloaded all the datasheets in this book, and cleaned them up, and OCR'd with acrobat. (the old ones had skewed pages).
Now since these app notes are available to all, and I live in Norway, and therefore a subject to Norwegian law; I will make the dastardly, and probably not correct claim that these app notes are kinda' public domain, except that they haven't been officially released. But anyone can gather them. Then I ask you, the reader, If you want me to share with you the wealth of this knowledge. Should I upload it to somewhere or email it to someone and make it available to you ?
P.S Sorry if this sounds as an advertisement for analog devices, it is not my intention.edit. link #1
