This is probably not a scam

if I were in the UK, I would buy the UK version to test Amazon  (maybe it is a millionaire's giveaway ha ha ha)

Sometimes sellers do not know what they are selling

It rather seems that listing bot put the wrong price as all other devices don't have such ridiculous pricing.

Buy it and pay through paypal, then if it turns out to be a scam you get your money back.

Heres the funny bit, when i looked at the sellers selling it, theres the one for £45 and one for above £8000 both from the same seller. Both say delivery is currently unavailable. However if it is still available for that price and with delivery i could order it and do a teardown to see if it is real or fake.

Try buying it.  I'll bet it's an error that will soon disappear when the Seller is prompted.  I don't see any indication of bargain pricing on their other goods.

The other thing is that it might be a deliberate 'error' to attract attention - and while that item might not be available, the seller has lots of other things that might appeal to those who followed it to their store.

i have been trying. If i were to contact the seller they may correct the price. Perhaps those in other countries could try?

Either of my (perfectly ordinary and respectable) UK addresses are rejected as "can't deliver to that address" so I assume it is just an advertising stunt.

Nice... please keep us updated...

But somehow I think nothing much will happen. They probably will reject your order and Amazon will refund your payment (if you used Amazons payment service)

Actually this looks more like a mistake (or stupidity) than a fraud. They are trying to sell test lead set for scopemeter it seems. Googling for EAN/ASIN confirms that.

Their description, too:
"Fluke TL2M Test Lead Set; 1000V CAT III; Just plug; 2M; PVC Red / Black & & Normally 7-18 working days, customers can get the orders after the order is placed. However, we will do our best to send it as soon as possible. If you are urgent, please make us know it in time."

I get:

Product Description
Usually, in 7-18 working days, customers can get the orders after issuing the order. However, we will do our best to dispatch it as soon as possible. If you are urgent, please make us know it in time. & Fluke TL2M Test Lead Set; 1000V CAT III; Straight Plug; 2M; PVC Red/Black &

... and even then I had to go looking.

But anyone could be forgiven for not reading that far down - especially when you click on the link on the "2 new from £45.65" link and get:

The part number in the £45.65 listing ( ASIN: B01DIHNL5C ) is for the cable set, not the scope ( ASIN: B01DJYKEZ4 ) as in the £8,255 listing.

If you managed to find a way to get it delivered ( I can't ) and it turned out to be just a cable set, I think you might need a lawyer to prove you were misled.

Not if you paid via PayPal.

The seller would need one - and more than likely lose.

Even without the lawyer, the whole listing is at least misleading - the photo and especially the title are simply incorrect.

From:
"Amazon.co.uk Marketplace" <payments-messages@amazon.co.uk>

"Hello,

We're writing to let you know that your order 203-6270251-650xxx from ASICO TECH has been cancelled because the price of the item(s) wasn't set correctly by the Seller. In most cases, you pay for items when they're dispatched to you, so you won't be charged for items that are cancelled.*"
