Behold... ART!
« on: April 13, 2016, 08:26:41 am »
So, I was reminded of this, I encountered them in naoshima in japan, in a fairly schmancy, pretentious seeming art museum, and yes, they are in fact, functioning, though they only have one pin now.

Yup, you can pay nigh on 20 Canadian pesos, to get a toggle switch with a pin to... well, pin on stuff. It was tempting to buy one just for the sheer novelty of saying "Hey look, I have this $20 toggle switch", but I figured I could just make one when I get home.

1620 of anything seems too much for that. Except maybe Zimbabwean Dollars (including postage).

Or a button or a badge depending on where in the world you are.

Would not even buy a sheet of toilet paper when it was still a currency.

I pulled a 27 euro push momentary action button of a bit of rack mount kit.  It is red. Does it count as art?

Can you stick it on clothing and act pretentious, while pretending to see a deeper meaning?

If so, then yes!
