EEVBlog satire...
« on: January 10, 2015, 11:26:34 pm »
Hi everyone, I've been a long time listener to the EEVBlog videos on Youtube, though new to the forums here, and whilst I know next to nothing about EE (I'm a telecommunications consultant by trade), I was motivated to create a bit of a satirical teardown video after one of Dave's gentle ribbing of kiwis (New Zealanders) in previous mailbag videos. No offense intended with this, but I hope you guys like this teardown with your new host, Doug Jones.

Clearly a fake, Dave mentions what video camera he happens to use that day, apologies for the quality and reads the the manufacturing dates of the main chips.  ;-)

Ahh! Yes! I forgot about the in like Flynn bit, and I perhaps should have started it with the dashcam packaged up me opening it with an oversized knife as well. Perhaps if I do another one I can try that stuff.

Oh, Dave...

You've inspired people to imitate you, and still others know your mannerisms so well that they can critique the imitator on the slightest nuances of behavior. I'm not sure many other YouTubers out there get this kind of feedback. Pretty unique.
It's perfectly acceptable to not know something in the short term. To continue to not know over the long term is just laziness.

Now that video is a real Bobby Dazzler!  Not to crusty at all... nice bit of kit.   But did you hold your tongue at the right angle when pulling out those screws?

Should I do another one? I'm thinking about a Mailbag Monday parody... Thoughts? I don't want to be a victim of the ban hammer.

I might not have much of a clue regarding EE, but this is a photo of what tickles my pickle. This was in my garage, prior to obtaining a wife.

Certainly, but how long are you going to leave the wife in the garage?
